Nikola Jokic scored 34 points and 14 rebounds, Jamal Murray had 21 points and the Denver Nuggets erased a 19-point second-half deficit on Sunday to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers and force a Game 7 in the Western Conference semifinals.

The Nuggets became the first team since 1997 to post three 15-point comebacks while facing elimination in a postseason with the 111-98 win, according to ESPN Stats & Info. They are the fifth team in NBA history to win five elimination games in a single postseason.

Jokic scored 19 points alone in the second half to lead the comeback as the Nuggets outscored the Clippers 64-35 after halftime. Denver shot 61.1% from the field in the second half while they held Los Angeles to 26.3% shooting.

Michael Porter Jr. led the Nuggets’ efforts off of the bench with 13 points and seven rebounds. He hit a huge 3-pointer with 6:59 left in the game to put the Nuggets up by five points and also had a key block on Paul George a few possessions later.

The Nuggets appeared to be on the verge of elimination following a sloppy first half of play. However, as the team has shown previously, no lead is too big as the group has consistently played until the final buzzer and has put forth some incredible efforts during the playoffs.

Game 7 between the two teams is set to tip-off Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
