Paul George scored a team-high 32 points, Kawhi Leonard had 23 points and 14 rebounds and the Los Angeles Clippers overcame a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals on Monday, 113-107.

Denver entered the fourth quarter with a four-point advantage but shot just 31.8% in the period, including 1-of-9 from 3-point range, to allow Los Angeles to take over late. The Clippers finished the game on a 23-10 run as the Nuggets went cold after scoring just one field goal over a five-minute span.

Nikola Jokic scored 32 points to lead the Nuggets while rookie Michael Porter Jr. provided a huge lift off of the bench, scoring 18 points in 23 minutes of work. He scored 12 points alone in the first half to give the Nuggets a narrow lead at halftime.

Porter threw down perhaps the dunk of the series thus far after posterizing Montrezl Harrell in the third quarter. The Nuggets appeared to have all of the momentum following the jam but couldn’t manufacture enough points late to hold off the Clippers.

With the exception of the Clippers’ blowout win in Game 1, the series between the two teams has proven to be rather entertaining with several impressive individual performances from both sides. Now, the Nuggets will look to bounce back in Game 4 on Wednesday.
