Play the big games and the stars will come.
Denver Nuggets point guard Monte Morris was in attendance on Friday for the No. 22 Colorado women’s basketball game against No. 2 Stanford.
Morris, who played his college basketball at Iowa State, is averaging over 12 points this season and was enjoying a night off before the Nuggets host the Lakers on Saturday.
After years of struggling to attract fans, it was great to see the CU Events Center finally packed in support of the undefeated women’s team. And at the time of this writing, it appeared to be paying dividends with the Buffs taking a 28-24 halftime lead over Stanford
