Now that the San Antonio Spurs have shut down prized rookie combo guard Stephon Castle for the rest of Las Vegas Summer League, what are our assessments of it? The Spurs have clearly found a gem in their decision to draft University of North Carolina forward Harrison Ingram in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft.

And of course we have also learned that Castle is the defensive ace we were led to believe that he was, and could be poised to hone that 3-point shot sooner than later. But have we learned anything else about the team’s developing players and prospects?
