Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals didn’t come cheap for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Starting running back Najee Harris and starting outside linebacker T.J. Watt both went down with significant injuries, the extent of which we don’t know yet.
Meanwhile the Steelers have Mason Rudolph sitting third on the depth chart just chomping at the bit for a chance to play some football. Enter the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday but more than that lost starting quarterback Dak Prescott for a huge chunk of the season with a thumb injury.
Pittsburgh has needs, Dallas needs a quarterback and Pittsburgh has a quarterback they aren’t using. General manager Omar Khan should have been on the phone with the Cowboys first thing this morning to try and work out a trade. The Cowboys have more pass rushers than they can use and a couple of very good backup running backs.
Should the Steelers try to trade Rudolph to the Cowboys? If so, who do you want in return? Let us know in the comments below.
