The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has released its first poll of the spring season.
Among Division II teams, Nova Southeastern claims the No. 1 spot with six first-place votes, while Indianapolis trails by just two points to rank No. 2 with three first-place votes. That’s essentially a flip-flop from the final poll of the fall season, which Indianapolis led with nine first-place votes.
Nova Southeastern, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, has played twice already this spring, winning both starts. Indianapolis starts its spring season next month.
Dallas Baptist sits at No. 3, while Rollins and Tampa rank No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
