Jeff Feyerer’s Notre Dame-Syracuse Prediction: 9-0
This is going to be a coronation for a weird season. A cherry on top of the proverbial sundae.
Listen, there’s really not much more to say about Syracuse than they are a football team. But they are the 2nd worst football team Notre Dame will face all season (Sorry, South Florida) and I don’t foresee the letdown happening.
What I will be watching will be resume building for those players potentially up for postseason awards. Will Ian Book pad his stats enough to at least be in consideration for the Heisman? Will Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah remain a possibility for the Butkus award?
We know what this team is by now. And its damn good. It’s all about December 19th right now and Saturday is a small speed bump.
