Notre Dame’s Jayden Harrison starts the second half of the Sugar Bowl with a bang

What a start to the second half for the Irish

Notre Dame football finished the first-half of its quarterfinal College Football Playoff matchup with Georgia with a flurry of 10-points.

The start of the second-half was just as explosive for the Irish as the end, as wide receiver [autotag]Jayden Harrison[/autotag] returned the opening kickoff 98-yards for s score, extending the lead to 20-3.

The Irish blitzed the Bulldogs with 17-points in under a minute of game time, something that has happened before this season. Defense and special teams has been Notre Dame calling card this fall, and they again showed up during this quick strike.

Harrison’s return was a thing of beauty, as he caught the ball on the right side, faked going to the left, put his foot in the turf and went back to the right, broke a tackle, shed off the kicker and took it to the house.

While it hasn’t been Harrison’s best season as a returner, he showed up in a huge moment.
