Notre Dame’s five biggest plays from Clemson upset

Lord knows there were a ton of huge plays made by Notre Dame as they upset Clemson on Saturday but here were the five biggest for the Irish.

2. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah’s Fumble Return

When Notre Dame almost upset USC in 2005 it was the Tom Zbikowski punt return for a score that was huge in the second quarter.  Back in ’88 it was Pat Terrell returning an interception for a touchdown before he’d bat the would-be go-ahead two point conversion try away.

When you knock off number one it usually takes a score or an absolutely huge play that leads to one and Koramoah’s fumble return for a touchdown to give Notre Dame a 20-10 lead did exactly that.
