The Sugar Bowl was postponed from Wednesday to Thursday due to the horrific incident that saw 15 people killed and dozens injured on New Year’s morning in New Orleans.
The announcement when the game will kick off was made late in the afternoon Wednesday. Both Georgia and Notre Dame requested an earlier kickoff than in the evening and they were accommodated with a 4 p.m. ET kick.
