It may be “O-Line U” but that doesn’t mean every big-time offensive lineman recruit attends Notre Dame.
That will in fact be the case as prized recruit Ryan Baer of Eastlake, Ohio has canceled his official visit to Notre Dame, instead, having his final five potential schools as Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, and Virginia.
Baer checks in at 6-7, 320 pounds and recently told The News-Herald of his decision.
“I didn’t feel like Notre Dame was a top option,”
“They were more of a Plan B. The five I’ve visited, those are my strong top five. I’m going to sit down with my family and hope to get this decision made in July.”

Baer has a three-star ranking from 247Sports while Rivals ranks him as a four-star prospect.
