Notre Dame will try to get back to winning against Syracuse

The Irish need to get back to winning.

Notre Dame had to do some serious soul-searching after losing to Wake Forest. Until that defeat, the Irish had been able to prove they can win games as long as their offense was in working order. It was against the Deacons, but it didn’t matter this time because they faced an opponent that had just as good a game offensively. They’ll have to put that behind them when they face Syracuse.

The Irish might be without Nate Laszewski, who will be a game-time decision as he has been dealing with a stomach virus. Regardless, they will get to see if Blake Wesley reaches an important milestone. With another 3-pointer, two points and five rebounds, he would become the first true freshman in the country this season to achieve a line of 400 points, 100 rebounds, 50 3-pointers, 70 assists and 30 steals. More important of late is the 17.6 scoring average he has over the past four games.
