Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love has kept his season-long rushing touchdown streak alive.
Love found the end zone on a 1-yard touchdown run that capped off a 6-play, 60-yard drive that took 3:10 off the clock and put the Irish up 21-7 over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Love now has a rushing touchdown in every single game this season.
The key play of the drive was the play just before, when Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard found wide receiver Beaux Collins for a 15-yard pass that set the Irish up at the goal line.
The scoring drive was a key momentum shift. The Irish escaped the first half with a 14-7 lead after Georgia Tech fumbled a field goal attempt. The Yellow Jackets had the ball to start the second half, but the Notre Dame defense forced a punt that led to the scoring drive and Love touchdown.
Notre Dame still has work to do to put Georgia Tech away, but the second half has started much better for the Irish than the first did.
