The Notre Dame coaching staff has been vocal in recent years about upping their recruiting game and the success has started to show up.
After Devin Moore’s commitment, the 18th for Notre Dame in the 2022 recruiting class, the Irish are now the second-ranked recruiting class nationally by both 247Sports and Rivals.
Notre Dame trails only Ohio State in both recruiting outlets’ eyes while Florida State, LSU, and Penn State round out the top five according to both services.
One key part worth noting however is that of the 11 five-star players that have committed to top-ten schools according to both outlets, the Irish have zero such commitments. It’s not the end of the world as the Fighting Irish staff does a tremendous job at developing their talent, but it is certainly worth noting.
