3. A key offensive cog finally finds the end zone
Notre Dame’s offense struggled through some parts of the year, but it began to take off when senior Javon McKinley began taking off.
McKinley didn’t light up a stat sheet, but he has made key plays in several games for Notre Dame’s offense. He entered Saturday with 30 receptions for 549 yards, far and away the most of any Notre Dame player.
What he didn’t have before Saturday though was a touchdown in 2020, but that changed as the senior pulled in seven receptions for 111 yards and three scores in his final game at Notre Dame Stadium.
Best defensive player of the Brian Kelly Era???
