Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love updates his status for Penn State, Orange Bowl

Will we see Love in a week?

While Notre Dame football advanced to the College Football Playoff semi finals, with a 23-10 win over the Georgia Bulldogs, many are wondering what the status of star running back [autotag]Jeremiyah Love[/autotag] will be.

The sophomore didn’t have his best game, with his season-long rushing touchdown streak broken, and having to leave the game early due to an injury to his knee. Love was seen on the broadcast motioning the way he believed his knee bent, which didn’t look good.

Fortunately, it does seem like it’s a minor thing, as On3’s Tyler Horka found out from the Irish star that his injury is similar to the one he sustained against USC. While Love did say to Horka that he intends to play against the Nittany Lions, he won’t have nearly as much time to recover than he did between the Trojans and the Indiana Hoosiers.

Love said he’s a quick healer, but he could be very limited with just a week to prepare. We could end up seeing a lot of Jadarian Price and Aneyas Williams against PSU.
