Kevin Austin came to Notre Dame as perhaps the most highly regarded wide receiver to enter under Brian Kelly.
Austin was ranked by 247Sports as the 14th best receiver in the nation back in 2018 and the 82nd overall prospect. Despite the rankings it hasn’t meant success on Saturday’s yet for Austin, who missed 2019 in part due to a suspension for violating team rules.
With all that said, it’s easy to forget the level of talent Austin brought to South Bend and what he has the potential to become. There aren’t many highlights of him at Notre Dame as he’s had just five career receptions, but why not take a look back at the skills that made him such a highly-regarded recruit.
The combination of size, strength, speed, hands and catch radius of 2018 #NotreDame WR commit Kevin Austin Jr. (@Ka_szn) is ridiculous.
