New Notre Dame defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman stayed busy on Wednesday as he was out offering scholarships to some of the finest prospects in the 2023 recruiting class, specifically at the linebacker position.
Early in the day news came out that in-state prospect Drayk Brown announced he had received a scholarship offer from Notre Dame while later in the day one of the biggest prospects in the 2023 recruiting class announced the same.
Tre Edwards is a 6-1, 22o pound inside linebacker from Chula Vista, California where he stars at Mater Dei Catholic. On Wednesday, Notre Dame became the 12th team to offer him a football scholarship.
