Notre Dame remains to be looking to bolster its secondary via transfer portal just as they did a season ago when they added Nick McCloud from North Carolina State.
The Irish remain in the running for cornerback Akayleb Evans of Tulsa, who announced Notre Dame as one of his five finalists to transfer to over the weekend.

Joining Notre Dame were Missouri, Texas, Texas Tech, and Jackson State.
If you’re wondering how Jackson State makes the list remember that Deion Sanders is currently the head coach there which I would imagine makes it an especially appealing destination for a defensive back.
Stay tuned as the Irish remain in pursuit as the deadline for a decision to be made and be eligible for the 2021 season is now just a month away as it comes on July 1.
