Notre Dame is preparing its students for a College Football Playoff run

The players aren’t the only one’s prepping for a CFP run in South Bend

As we all know, [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] isn’t just about athletics, there’s a large emphasis on academic as well.

The majority of the university doesn’t participate as a collegiate athlete, instead as students trying to prepare themselves for the real world. Well, the Irish are getting ready for something entirely different this fall, a berth in the expanded [autotag]College Football Playoff[/autotag].

Since Notre Dame can’t make the top-4, which would result in a first-round bye, they’ll have to settle for hosting or traveling to its CFP opponents stadium. Having a game on campus would be the most ideal situation, and on Monday it was announced that the final exam schedule will be adjusted as they prepare to host.

As reported by Jack Soble, an email went out the to student-body about the change, which would happen a day earlier than the planned Friday of December 20th to end finals.

Notre Dame still hasn’t played a game this fall, but it’s looking like South Bend has a special feeling about this coming year. The preparations have begun.
