I know everyone will be all over the offensive player of the game because it was his final in a Notre Dame uniform and we’ll get to him in a minute but there was a rising star who was an absolute terror for 60 minutes Saturday afternoon.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is a household name for Notre Dame fans but next year he will be a household name nationwide.
Saturday he had a career afternoon that began early as he forced a fumble on Iowa State’s opening possession that Notre Dame recovered and that led to the first Irish touchdown of the day.
“JOK” finished the day with nine total tackles three sacks and four tackles for loss. He played like a man whose hair was on fire and dominated all afternoon, a great momentum builder for a 2020 season where his and team expectations will be sky-high.
