The long wait is over, [autotag]Notre Dame football[/autotag] is officially back.
Well, not today, but on Saturday afternoon the Irish will return to competing on the gridiron against [autotag]Navy[/autotag] in Dublin, Ireland at Aviva Stadium. The long trip across the pond isn’t abnormal for Notre Dame, although their last time playing in Ireland was back in 2012, when most of these current players were grammar school.
That doesn’t change the fact that Irish football is back in our lives, so buckle up for another rollercoaster season. Also, don’t be alarmed by the start time of the post, as that is local Ireland time, not here in the states. Kickoff for many of us will be at 1:30 p.m. ET.
It’s game week.
