Notre Dame football offers elite Mississippi 2026 wide receiver

The Irish are back to Mississippi offering another elite prospect

There was an interesting movement in Notre Dame football recruiting on Thursday afternoon, as an offer went out that may not just impact the 2026 class.

Mississippi wide receiver [autotag]Tristen Keys[/autotag] announced on Thursday that the Irish were the latest school to give him a scholarship, adding another elite school to his growing list. At 6-foot, 2-inches and 175-pounds, he ranked as the nation’s No. 41 overall prospect and 6th at his position according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Why this offer may impact another class is due to who Notre Dame has in its 2025 class, quarterback [autotag]Deuce Knight[/autotag]. The current Irish commit has been flirting with Auburn the past few weekends, and will be there again on Saturday.

Knight had previously made a post about Key, saying that he wants him to join him in South Bend. This statement was made long before the quarterback was having second thoughts about his verbal, and the two could ultimately play in college together.

This won’t be an easy recruitment for the Irish to win out, as Key has offers from multiple major power programs early into his junior year.
