Notre Dame fans are well aware of how Boston College has been a pain in the rear end of the Irish over the years.
1993 has been discussed at length this week as has the 2002 meeting, both of which saw Boston College end dreams of unbeaten seasons for Notre Dame.
Discussing the No. 2 Notre Dame vs. Boston College game on ESPN’s College Gameday on Saturday morning, Lee Corso described the Eagles football program perfectly in the eyes of most Notre Dame fans:
"Boston College is team made up of a lot of Notre Dame wanna bes." — Lee Corso.

“A bunch of Notre Dame wannabes”
I don’t know about wannabes but I’ve always thought of Boston College a different way as a lifelong Notre Dame fan.
Boston College has always been like a bug you see walking across the patio on a summer day.
It’s mostly harmless and usually you forget it’s even there but at times can be annoying enough, like in ‘93 and ‘02, that you just want to stomp on it.
Here’s to hoping that’s exactly what happens at 3:30 p.m. ET today in Massachusetts.
