Notre Dame football lands another 2026 commitment, its first on the offensive line

The Irish are starting off hot with their 2026 recruiting

With the ink just starting to dry from the 2025 recruiting class signing on Wednesday, Notre Dame football can officially start to look towards the 2026 cycle.

Well, you can say that they’ve already done a great job, with four commits, but now you can make it five. On Thursday morning, Michigan offensive lineman [autotag]Sullivan Garvin[/autotag] committed to the Irish.

The 6-foot, 5-inch and 300-pounder has a decent offer list that consist of Washington, Indiana, Purdue and others, but didn’t need any more as he made his decision to commit to Notre Dame.

As the nation’s No. 444 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Garvin’s ranking might not be as high as you’d like to see, but that may not matter. The Irish have done a great job at identifying offensive line talent over the years, so if he is a take for Notre Dame, he’s got to be a solid player.
