Offensive Line Domination
In all my years of watching Notre Dame football I don’t know many times I’ve seen the offensive line dominate a Power Five opponent the way it did Florida State.
It’s easy to look at the stats and assume that Notre Dame’s offensive line played well but the statistics go far beyond that even.
42 rushes for 353 yards.
Let me type that again because it felt so good the first time.
353 RUSHING YARDS.
That’s good for 8.4 yards per attempt.
This isn’t Navy or Air Force, this is Notre Dame against Florida State.
The stats are one thing but the size of the holes told the story to those who watched. Not to take anything away from Chris Tyree and his lightning speed but the size of the hole on his touchdown run was probably big enough for myself to be able to pick up about 25 yards on.

It’s also crazy to see Florida State, who has been good pretty much my entire life, look like a MAC team between the tackles defensively.
Just an incredible showing.
