Nick Shepkowski’s Game Balls for 9/12 vs. Duke
Offensive: Kyren Williams
It’s easy to look at the stat sheet and see Williams go over 200 yards of total offense and for a couple of scores but to me his ability to pick up blockers was as impressive as any run he had all day. Don’t believe me? Go watch what he does on Book’s touchdown pass to Avery Davis.
Defensive: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah
This could have gone a few different ways. Geoffrey gave it to Foskey who was making Chase Brice’s life a living hell for most the afternoon while Kurt Hinish played his butt off in stopping Duke’s run game after a quick start.
Owusu-Koramoah was able to get to Brice when he blitzed, recording a sack and was responsible for forcing a fumble that was huge in the moment. His draft stock was already strong and only got stronger after being all over the field on Saturday.
