The Irish have been hot and cold against ACC opponents this year, something that has been very frustrating for head coach Link Jarrett. Although Notre Dame enters the series against visiting Wake Forest with a 23-8 record, they are just 8-7 in conference play.
Every ACC series has either been swept by the Irish or the Irish have been swept. Notre Dame is coming off a three game sweep after they visited Duke, but they broke the losing streak with a mid-week wins against Valparaiso and Purdue Fort Wayne.
The three game set will begin Friday night at 5pm EST with ace John Michael Bertrand on the mound. Austin Temple is scheduled to start game two with the game three starter yet to be announced.

Good news for the Irish is that since Jarrett took over, they’ve been a sparkling 25-7 at home. They’re third overall in fielding percentage in all of the NCAA, while being seventh in WHIP (walks and hits per innings pitched). The ERA is tenth nationally and second in the ACC at 3.40.
All three games are set to be played at Frank Eck Stadium and will be broadcasted on the ACC Network.
