Notre Dame landed a big-time commitment for it’s 2022 recruiting class by adding four-star prospect, offensive tackle Ty Chan.
Chan checks in at 6-6, 275 pounds from Lawrence Academy in Massachusetts as O-Line U gets another highly touted prospect.
Chan chose Notre Dame over offers from Boston College, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, and a handful of others that have already been in pursuit of the high school junior.
Chan announced the news on Twitter Thursday, making him the fourth commitment to Notre Dame’s 2022 recruiting class that sits in the top ten nationally very early on.

Chan joins a class that already features four-star tackle Joey Tanona of Zionsville, Indiana, as the offensive line coach Jeff Quinn has an outstanding start to his 2022 class.
As we close in on national signing day 2021, it’s good to see things taking shape for the next batch of recruits that we’ll be analyzing more thoroughly this coming off-season.
