The Irish have a rising star in their backyard and it seems they have a very good chance of keeping him at home. On Monday, Andrean linebacker Drayk Bowen announced his top five schools, and Notre Dame was included along with LSU, Auburn, Clemson and Indiana.
It seems Bowen would like to play both football and baseball at the next level, and the opportunity to stay at home and play for the Irish would be a fantastic pairing. The baseball team is coming off a trip to the NCAA Super Regional round while the football team has made the College Football Playoff in two of the last three seasons.
I would like to thank all of the coaches and staff who have taken the time to build a relationship with me over the summer. Thank you to my parents for driving me around between baseball games and football visits all summer. I will be focusing on these 5 schools. @Hayesfawcett3 pic.twitter.com/6HBZIR9yiS

The 6-foot-2-inch, 215-pound two-sport star is still a ways from making his college decision official. Though the Irish are working on finishing their 2022 recruiting class, there is still an eye on the 2023’s. Currently Notre Dame has two commits in the ‘23 class and would love for Bowen to make it three.
