Notre Dame a 10-seed in latest USA TODAY Bracketology

What does Notre Dame have to do the rest of the way to lock up a tournament bid?

Notre Dame is relatively safe as an at-large team for the 2022 NCAA Tournament it would appear, assuming they take care of business these last few weeks of the regular season.  Considering the Irish had to rally to force overtime against Boston College at home last week, that’s anything but a two-foot putt.

However, in their latest release of Bracketology, USA TODAY Sports writers Shelby Mast and Scott Gleeson have Notre Dame in the tournament as a 10-seed.

Their projection calls for the Irish to take on 7-seed Colorado State in the Midwest region with the winner likely taking on second-seeded Purdue in round two.

Notre Dame returns to the court Wednesday night when they play host to Syracuse at 7 p.m. ET.
