LB Marcel Spears Jr.
Spears was always tabbed as a priority free agent but has enough consistency to put up a fight.
From NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein:
“Undersized Will linebacker prospect who played a reliable, consistent brand of football for Iowa State. Spears’ play recognition against the run is average and his angles to the football can be choppy and inefficient. He doesn’t have the burst or top-end speed for extended pursuits to the perimeter. He’s a very consistent tackler once he’s locked and loaded and he plays with solid ball skills and instincts when dropping into space. Spears handled his duties in college but lacks the size and traits necessary to make it as a pro.”
