Notae finishes the regular season as the team’s leading scorer with an average of 18.9 points per contest, which is second-best in the conference behind Vanderbilt’s Scotty Pippen Jr., who averages 20 points per game.
In the next-to-last week of the regular season, Notae was awarded the ESPN National Player of the Week, in addition to being named SEC Player of the Week after dropping 22 points against Florida, and a career-best 30 points in a home win over Kentucky.
Williams has gotten done on both sides of the spectrum this season. The sophomore from Fort Smith had a run of seven-straight games where he recorded a double-double that was interrupted in the regular-season finale against Tennessee, where he was held to nine points and seven rebounds.
He was also named to the All-Defensive team, joining the likes of Auburn’s Walker Kessler and Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebway. He is the first Razorback since Daniel Gafford in 2018 to earn All-SEC, and All-Defensive honors. Those two join Lee Mayberry as the only three in school history to be named to both teams in the same season.
