Nosebleed Seats: LB Keanu Neal talk, and have Cowboys gotten better?

In my latest spot on @Nosebleeds1053, we run the gamut of the latest offseason news and changes in the world of the Cowboys. The big question, has Dallas improved this offseason?

Somehow, confusion arose over initial reports to whether the Dallas Cowboys were moving Keanu Neal to linebacker once he signed in free agency. The former Atlanta Falcons safety is reuniting with Dan Quinn, but his performance in 2020 certainly spawned a need to review whether his skillset is still capable of being helpful in coverage after multiple leg injuries.

In my latest appearance on The Nosebleed Seats from this week, we discussed this, whether or not Damontae Kazee or Malik Hooker would be able to help in 2021, Jourdan Lewis’ ability aside from his coverage skills, and the draft worthiness of Patrick Surtain.

What’s the hardest thing for teams to evaluate in the 2021 draft? Most likely trying to decide how to evaluate the number of prospects who sat out for the entire 2020 season. Hard for the Cowboys? Deciding whether to be in or not with Aldon Smith. In the meantime in between time, additions along the defensive line paint an interesting picture of depth.
