The North Carolina Tar Heels return from the bye week and will host the Syracuse Orange this weekend in Chapel Hill. It will be the first meeting between the two programs since the opener in the shortened 2020 season.
UNC enters this game at 4-0 and ranked No. 13 in the coaches poll while Syracuse is fresh off their fist loss of the season to Clemson and at 4-1. It’s a big early season game in the Atlantic Coast Conference to begin the month of October.
As North Carolina returns home, they will do so in front of a sold-out crowd as the program announced this week that Saturday’s game is officially sold out:

Fans will have to look on the second-hand market to get tickets for this showdown between two good ACC teams.
For North Carolina, it’s important to come out and make a statement in front of the home crowd. They have the chance to go 5-0 on the year ahead of a big showdown against No. 17 Miami the following week.
But the Tar Heels cant get too far ahead of themselves and have to take care of business against the Orange first.
