North Carolina visits four-star power forward on Tuesday

The UNC basketball program made a trip to California to visit with Niko Bundalo on Tuesday.

North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis is a busy man.

Over the past few days, Davis has been on the recruiting trail visiting top prospects on North Carolina’s recruiting board. That included Tuesday as the Tar Heels are in to visit two recruits in the 2025 class.

In addition to visiting No. 1 overall recruit A.J. Dybantsa on Tuesday, Davis and the staff are out on the West Coast to visit four-star forward Niko Bundalo at Prolific Prep in Napa, California as well.

Davis and two assistants will be out there to meet with Bundalo during this open recruiting period, checking in on him and hoping to move forward in this recruitment.

Bundalo is down to eight schools in his recruitment with UNC, Michigan State, Ohio State, Kentucky, UConn, Texas, Pitt, and Xavier. His recruitment has been a little silent as of late but he’s expected to make his decision before his final year of high school basketball which begins on November 1.

The Tar Heels will get a visit from Bundalo from October 4-6 which is currently the last visit he has scheduled.

Bundalo is ranked No. 24 nationally, the No. 7 power forward and No. 3 player in the state of California per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
