North Carolina State (1-0) opened its 2024 football season defeating Western Carolina (0-1), 38-21, at Carter–Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Wolfpack will now prepare for Tennessee (1-0) on Saturday in Week 2. The nonconference matchup will take place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ABC.
Senior quarterback Grayson McCall made his first start for North Carolina State against Western Carolina. He completed 26-of-40 passing attempts for 318 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, while recording 16 rushing yards on five attempts.
Running back Jordan Waters led the Wolfpack in rushing yards (123), while Kevin Concepcion finished with 121 receiving yards.
