Difficult moment in the North Carolina State-Forest game on Saturday.
Wolfpack quarterback Grayson McCall took off on a scramble. He absorbed a couple of wicked hits as his helmet popped off.
Players quickly urged help to come from the sidelines.
McCall’s jersey was cut off on the field as he was worked on by medical personnel.
His family came down to the field and before the QB was carted off and transported to Wake Forest’s Medical Center he hugged his parents.

In the 2023 season at Arkansas State, McCall wasknocked unconscious and carted off the field before spending the night in a hospital. He missed the final six games of the 2023 season and entered the transfer portal.
