Noah Grubbs, Notre Dame’s 2026 QB commit, isn’t going anywhere

Although 2025’s QB is up in the air, the Irish’s 2026 QB is locked in

There is mass panic among Notre Dame football fans, and the main reason is what has transpired with 2025 quarterback commit [autotag]Deuce Knight[/autotag] over the last 24 hours.

On Monday evening, reports started to flood social media that the Irish verbal will make a trip to Auburn before making a final decision. Reportedly, Ole Miss is also in the mix.

This situation seems like a failing relationship, in which the two parties eventually split up. An uneasy feeling for sure, but in the world of recruiting, there is always a “backup plan.”

While Knight and [autotag]Noah Grubbs[/autotag] are in different classes, the Irish still should feel good about their future quarterback situation. The Floridian is locked in. He said so himself late on Monday, responding to a spaces that claimed “He’s (Knight) Gone.”

While Grubbs’ recruiting ranking isn’t quite that of Knight’s, he’s still a great prospect in his own right. He wants to be teammates with Deuce, but he knows that the Irish will be fine either way.

(Note: Grubbs has since deleted to post.)
