‘No satisfaction whatsoever,’ says Celtics’ Jaylen Brown, hungry for more

This team has its sights on bigger things than changing the narratives of a regular season.

After cementing one of the most impressive turnarounds in the same season in modern NBA history from the team they played like at the start of the 2021-22 NBA season to the present, the Boston Celtics have catapulted themselves up the contention ladder faster than anyone could have realistically seen coming.

That’s been accomplished with the best defense in the NBA and one of its better offenses, helping to wash away the stink of a 17 – 19 start and plenty of critical voices. Speaking to the media after beating up on the Denver Nuggets this past Sunday, star forward Jaylen Brown asked he felt any satisfaction given the hefty dose of criticism he and Boston had been hearing earlier this season.

“No satisfaction whatsoever,” he replied matter-of-factly.
