No Lions players made the top 50 in NFLPA sales figures

No Lions players made the top 50 in NFLPA sales figures for the latest tracking period, but that could change in the next one

Despite adding some brighter star power in the last few months, the Detroit Lions still lack a truly marketable player that resonates with fans. For now anyway…

The NFLPA released the top 50 players across the NFL in total merchandise sales for the last tracking period. No Lions players appeared in the top 50, which tracked total sales of jerseys, shirts and all other officially licensed merchandise from March through May.

That time only includes one month of the post-draft period, so first-round additions Aidan Hutchinson and Jameson Williams had precious little time to represent Detroit. Tom Brady of Tampa Bay once again tops the list.

Based on recent reconnaissance around Detroit, Hutchinson appears poised to make the top 50 for the next period.
