Tennessee (19-6, 7-4 SEC) swept through singles after capturing the doubles point against the Crimson Tide (8-19, 0-11 SEC).
In doubles, Adam Walton and Pat Harper defeated Filip Planinsek and Patrick Kaukovalta, 6-4. Emile Hudd and Shunsuke Mitsui downed Enzo Aguiard and Juan Martin, 6-2.
At No. 1 singles, Walton, the nation’s 12th-ranked player, defeated No. 36 Planisek, 6-3, 6-4.
No. 8 Johannus Monday defeated Kaukovalta, 6-3, 6-2, at the second singles slot.
At No. 3, Hudd downed Aguiard, 6-1, 6-4, while Mitsui prevailed at No. 4 as he defeated German Samofalou, 6-2, 6-1.
Angel Diaz won at No. 5 against Joao Ferriera, 7-5, 7-6 (4).
At No. 6, Conor Gannon defeated Zach Foster in three sets, 6-7 (0), 6-2, 1-0 (10-8).
