This game should be the toughest to date, as the Louisville offense led by quarterback Malik Cunningham and wide receiver Tutu Atwell and running back Javian Hawkins should give the Irish defense problems. Yes, the 1-3 record doesn’t indicate a challenge, but head coach Scott Satterfield’s team is better than that. What shouldn’t scare the Irish is the Cardinal defense, as they have allowed over 34 points per game this year. It’s not like they’ve even faced North Carolina or Clemson yet, the best offense they’ve faced was Miami, FL’s and the Hurricanes put up 47 points. The Irish’s ground game should keep the ball away from the Cardinals enough to limit their offensive production.
