No. 4 Notre Dame 12, Louisville 7: FIW Staff Game Balls

Who played the best on offense and defense for Notre Dame in their narrow win over Louisville? The Fighting Irish Wire staff give game balls

Nick Shepkowski Game Balls for Notre Dame Louisville:

Offensive:  Kyren Williams

I thought about making this for the offensive line seeing as it wasn’t their fault that a stacked box limited things they were able to do at points but Kyren Williams took over on the final drive of the game, allowing the Irish to ice the clock and end the contest, as ugly as it was at times.  His 127 yards were the difference between a win and disaster on this Saturday offensively.

Defensive:  Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

I thought Kyle Hamilton had a strong game as well but JOK’s football instincts are starting to really show true in 2020 as he seems to just always be around the ball.  JOK’s pair of tackles for loss didn’t hurt his cause either as we’re getting a weekly reminder of why it’s becoming more and more likely we hear his name called on the first night of the NFL Draft next April.
