Up Next: Sooners Wire Staff Predictions
Oklahoma’s offense, especially the offensive line, will come back and play angry in this week’s game vs. Tulsa. It’s no secret the offensive line struggled last game, especially in the run game, but that won’t be the case this week.
McKade Mettauer said their goal is to average 5.0 yards per carry or more and they haven’t hit that total yet this season. They will on Saturday.
Defensively we saw the secondary get tested last week for the first time and held up really well. This week the front seven will be tested as the Golden Hurricane brings in the nation’s No. 26-ranked rushing attack. This will be the first game we see if improvement has been made in the running game.
Ultimately, I think the Sooners offense will put on a big-time performance, and the defense continues to play well.
Sooners 51, Tulsa 10
