Freshman safety Kyle Hamilton stepped up yet again in another big way, intercepting his fourth pass of the season during Saturday’s rout. He was also credited with three tackles while being a part of a defense that dominated the afternoon.
Hamilton went from a relative-unknown as a recruit as little as 14 or so months ago. By the time he actually enrolled in school some outlets had him as Notre Dame’s highest ranked recruit in the class and his instant-impact isn’t going unnoticed.
What a day on Senior day for @NDFootball! By the way, ND fans are going to have to celebrate Senior Day for Kyle Hamilton a year early….

Hamilton paired with Ohio State transfer Isaiah Pryor and Houston Griffith among others make Notre Dame fans feel pretty good about what the safety positions will consist of for years to come in South Bend.
