The top offensive tackle in the class of 2025 is set to announce his commitment tomorrow. David Sanders Jr. will announce his decision on August 17th.
Sanders will decide between Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Nebraska. The tackle, a five-star prospect, plays for Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the reigning Gatorade State Player of the Year in North Carolina after helping Providence Day to another state championship.
Nebraska was a late addition to Sanders’s recruitment process. When he announced it back in March, the Cornhuskers were left off his top six, but a visit to the Lincoln campus in May appears to have made an impression.
The Huskers class of 2025 currently holds 18 commitments and is ranked No. 29 in the nation. The group is led by four-star receiver Isaiah Mozee and four-star defensive lineman Malcolm Simpson.
Current projections have the tackle committing to the Tennessee Volunteers. Sanders will make his announcement at 11:30 a.m. CT.
