It’s finally upon us!
After Clemson beat up Notre Dame 30-3 in the 2018 Cotton Bowl the date of November 7, 2020 has been circled by the Fighting Irish football program as their chance to prove they belong with the college football elites.
It’s been a strange year and the game is made even more bizarre as Clemson’s star quarterback Trevor Lawrence is out after testing positive for COVID-19 last week. Factor in that Notre Dame Stadium will only be about a quarter-full because of social distancing efforts and it doesn’t have the same physical feel as other times top five match-ups have occured in South Bend.
But it’s still the game of the week in college football and the biggest game of the year for Notre Dame.
