The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide rolled to an easy 55-17 win over the defending national champion LSU Tigers on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
This one was over early as Alabama quarterback Mac Jones continued his red-hot season, completing his first 12 pass attempts for three touchdowns en route to a 21-0 lead.
LSU tried to get back into this one when quarterback TJ Finley found wide receiver Kayshon Boutte for a touchdown to make it 21-7.
On the very next series, Jones found DeVonta Smith for a 65-yard score.
Jones completed 20 of 28 passes for 385 yards and four touchdowns. He led Alabama to touchdowns on its first five possessions.
Smith continued his amazing final season in Tuscaloosa, catching eight passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns, including one for the highlight reel.

Outside of two big plays, it was another strong effort by Alabama’s defense.
