New England Patriots receiver N’Keal Harry helped the offense do just enough to nab a win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12.
The 2019 first-round pick managed a touchdown, his first with New England, during the first half. After that, however, Harry couldn’t make a play. Tom Brady targeted Harry four times for that one reception, an 18-yard touchdown. Perhaps that’s why Harry didn’t get too high after the win on Sunday.
“I’m definitely not satisfied, and anybody that knows me knows that I’m about to turn it up a notch, and I’m about to really hit the grindstone and really get back to work,” Harry said during a postgame meeting with the media at his locker at Gillette Stadium.
I won’t allow myself to be even a lil bit satisfied. I’m hungrier now more than ever.💯 pic.twitter.com/At5gDT40Hl

The touchdown was an impressive connection between him and Brady. Harry said his instincts took over as he managed to haul in a back-shoulder throw with cornerback Byron Jones in tight coverage. Brady put the ball in a place where only Harry could catch it, but the young receiver did well to track the ball and keep his feet in-bounds in the end zone.
“It was a great feeling,” Harry said. “It was a great throw. I’m just happy I could come up and make the play.”
Brady trusted Harry to make a handful of contested catches, but with the rain and snow coming down and making for the sloppiest of conditions, Harry couldn’t corral the targets, with one drop on a toe-dragging sideline catch attempt and another on a jump ball in the red area.
“It just looked like those [rookies Jakobi Meyers and Harry] were gonna have to play a lot. Rather than feeling like, ‘Oh man I haven’t played much…’ he really approached it like he’d been out there all season,” Brady said on WEEI. “He just had a great mentality I think.”
